The Sinneave Family Foundation was chartered as a Canadian charitable foundation in 2008 by dedicated patrons Jim and Marion Sinneave. The Sinneaves established the Foundation out of a desire to improve the services and supports for individuals and families affected by autism. As the grandparents of two adults with autism, the Sinneaves have understood first hand the challenges of family life with autism.

A committed and highly esteemed group of volunteers from various sectors form the Sinneave Family Foundation Board of Directors. The members of the Board of Directors are, Richard Haskayne, Donald Kelly, J. Fraser Mustard, Jack Davis and William Karny. The Board provides strategic direction as well as fiduciary and general governance responsibility for the Foundation, with oversight over disbursements, investments, and other activities of the Foundation. The Board meets quarterly.
