Scientific Advisors

Leading the charge in evidence-based resources

In pursuing its vision to improve the quality of life for those living with autism, and its mission to build a lifetime of support for persons with ASD, Sinneave Family Foundation has taken inspiration and direction from two guiding forces: familes and science.

Guidance from families living with ASD has taken the shape of the Family Advisory Network, research projects looking at the family experience (ie. Dr. David Nicholas’ Lived Experiences study) and other ongoing and in-depth family consultations. With their help, a clearer picture of what life with ASD is like is emerging.

In meeting the needs of families and individuals, Sinneave Family Foundation is looking to science. The search for the best practices , research, and top scientists has been thorough and wide-reaching, and Sinneave Family Foundation is supported and guided in that search by its scientific advisors, international scholars Dr. Charles Nelson and Dr. Lonnie Zwaigenbaum.

With their expertise and leadership, Sinneave Family Foundation is identifying and developing its partnerships in autism research, and filling the gaps in clinical practice, treatment, education and training with applicable discoveries.
